THISAnnetteIt'd be nice if the goody-bag arrives in time for Christmas.The our newest addition whom we just adopted from the same shelter we adopted Zowie and Kama from. He is still very much the most important dog in the whole family. Zowie was a drop off and no one was sure why exactly they didn't want her as she was very well behaved and loving. I'll let you know what's in it when it arrives :)Hi Guys,I'm trying to add this image menu to a new vbadvanced template. A 8 week old check brindle female puppy 1 of a litter of 4 given birth from their mother not long before she was turned over to the shelter.Can anyone help please? I've a feeling I'm missing something simple as I have this working standalone, just cant get it right in a vbadvanced page or template. I am the proud owner of my 4 Boxers 3 adults and our 8 week old Boxer puppy. I've also tried adding this as a html page with no luck. Last year my daughter fell in love with a male 9 month old Dalmation puppy at the shelter she volunteered at. I just got to pick my baby up to day and i am happy as can be. I just see bullet points with the name of the images that are supposed to show. He is a 9 year old fawn and white male. And then she came in the house and of course the rest is history. Bria is the official peacemaker in the house and also competes in agility and obedience with my daughter.PB. He came into our lives when my daughter was 10 and she is 19 now.The page shows fine, but the images won't show and the menu doesn't work. I knew I wanted to rescue and I knew I wanted to rescue a puppy. She was turned over because the couple who bred her got divorced and neither one could keep her and her pups. He said she didn't have a name because she was a guard dog :shock: . Bria was owned by an older gentleman who didn't take proper care of her. I love my Zowie. Hope I didn't bore anyone and happy to be here and hope to make friends. My daughter knew Bria well enough to know she was now guard dog. She has done agility with him as soon as she could and he has done WONDERFUL in it and excels. She was left on a chain with out a dog house and against the elements. He is also a certifide therapy dog.Sorry this post was so long I obviousely can go on and on about my dogs . I swear i am such a push over when it comes to my daughter and dogs :roll: . We kept her in the heated garage until she had a clean bill of health has she had mange and such.I was far from happy not knowing the dogs history or health problems. One day she saw the gentleman outside and asked what his dogs name was. It was right after our first Boxer Petey died of cancer and my daughter seemed to lose all light in her life. My daughter did agility and obedience with him but now she just does obedience.Then we have Zowie our 5 year old fawn female.First we have Rivers who is more of my daughters dog then mine. Then there is 7 year old Bria (Brindle) who we just rescued a year after we adopted Zowie. She was thin ragged and the sweetest most loving dog you could ever meet. And he agreed! She bought Bria for $150 and brought her home. Since she is MY dog I finally got to name her what I wanted and so I named her Neva (of course I gave her an odd name!). My daughter also owns a Dalmation so we have 5 dogs among the two of us. All 5 of our dogs are rescues and here is a bit of an intro to them :). I am a writer and am now in the process of writing my first novel (I have written alot of short stories) and you guessed it it is based on boxers. Bria is a different story as to how we got her. It was hard finding a purebred boxer puppy up for adoption but I did and that was Rivers. My daughter being the person of impulse she was right then and there offered to buy Bria. So I put in an application for the little check female and was approved. We adopted Zowie at the age of 1 12 years olf from our local shelter.Thanks guys. But I agreed and boy did I ever do the right thing choosing that girl! Zowie has become my constant and favorite companion out of the entire household :oops: . She bonded with Rivers and Zowie and my daughter gave her one of her original names and we both fell for her. I wasent sure if I wanted Zowie just because I had never owned a female boxer before. The pups were obviousely purebred and my daughter knew I would jump at the chance to have a puppy again. Yes she can be her bouncy boxer self at times but she is very in tune with my needs and emotions it is almost like she is in my head. So she simpy said "she doesent look like much of a guard dog" and he agreed and said she was pretty much good for nothing. I agreed to atleast get her health up and then find her a new home as I hand enough with two dogs. My daughter of course found out about her first by volunteering there. The man who owned Bria lived a couple blocks away from my daughters school and of course she noticed Bria and felt terrible for her. She named him that because his energy level always makes her laugh and ask him is he is on drugs.I'm not sure whats going wrong!Any help suggestionshelp would be great. I am pretty new to this whole forum thing but I will try.Hi im Annette lol as it says in my title.Then came the Dalmation :roll: . I have to admit Kama has been an great addition to our home and though i don't see him as much as the others (my daughter and he live in my garage apartment and she pays me rent) he still adds some new spice to the family. Yes my daughter named her after the dog in Pet Cemetery 2 :roll: . Being old enough to fill out an adoption application and adopt her own dog she adopted him with out telling me and i came home one day to find a spotted face looking at me from under the blankets on MY BED!
