I would get in a meditative state and focus on how i wanted the instrument to sound, then i would practice for hours, (sometimes on the same note) until i achieved my goal, after a few months of lip-numbing practice i was finally reaching my destination, and the only word i can use to describe this oneness or unity of my horn is heavenly;
