THIS The vet told me that there is nothing that they can do for him other than make sure he is comfortable - he will be 11 next month?!Has anyone else had any experience of this in any of their dogs ? Would really appreciate any experience that anyone else can share with me as Bruno and Charlie are my first dogs so have never been through anything like this before. I live in the Isle of Man, so I know I will have to travel over to the UK to collect a puppy (just as I did with Milo). I was thinking of getting one from mid February onwards, as there's a few things happening between now and then (new kitchen being fitted, going away at Christmas and skiing holiday in January), so come February I think I would be able to devote my efforts to bringing up a puppy and all the trials and tribulations that come with it.Its been just over three weeks now since I lost Milo, my 12?year old Boxer and I'm starting to look for another puppy. He has been back and forth to the vet since and had various blood test and fortunately he is still with me - the vet thought that he was going to deteriorate more rapidly than he has.I have started to put out a few feelers, but have yet to find a litter which will be due during December which will mean the puppies being ready in February.If anyone knows of a UK based Breeder who is expecting a litter soon, I would be grateful of the details.Any help gratefully accepted.Would anyone have any advice on what best to feed him as he will not eat dog food - i have had him on a chicken and pasta diet as advised by my vet for the last 4 months but he seems to have gone off this ?Thank youyoutubewatch?v=WT1LXhgXPWsI DIDN'T DO IT!(ignore the masturbation at the beginning).After owning a Boxer for 12 years I think I should know what to expect, but the memory fades of those first few months of cleaning up accidents, dealing with bad behaviour etc; I survived last time, so hopefully I should this time too!I live alone, and work all day, but Milo went to work with me and had his own corner in the office, it will be same with the new dog. I am also lucky to have two families who took Milo into their own homes when I was away on holiday and they would be happy to look after a new dog too.JulianBruno was diagnoised with chronic renal failure in May this year and i was told by my vet he only had approx 4 weeks to live - as you can imagine i was absolutely devasted;
