THISThis has been a feature of Wolfie since the early days: someone cries "Teams!", I look at the player table and find that one side or the other is badly outnumbered. What usually happens in these cases is that the numerically superior side pushes the opposing team back to their spawn, and locks them in there. When this happens, it can get tedious for the side getting raped (meanwhile, the other side has a field day ). I've played enough to be on both sides of this equation, and at the moment at least, with ET, I find it quite entertaining whichever side I'm on because of the unfamiliar maps.So there I was on Fueldump, watching through my sniper scope as the Allies spawned in their hut. They swarmed out the doors and windows every 20 seconds with little blue icons on their heads indicating that they're invulnerable. When the vlue icon disappears I go bang! bang! and another one bites the dust.So... why can I, on the enemy side, see the invulnerability icons? Surely if I couldn't, that would give the poor enemy a better chance of escaping the spawn to cover (the reason for the invulnerability in the first place).Just playing with this idea a bit... wouldn't it be better still to have respawning players "fade in" to the battlefield. By this I mean have it so that immediately after a respawn you're invulnerable, as now, for a couple of seconds... for the next second have damage taken be 25% normal, then 50% the next, then 75%... you see what I mean? This would be more of a change to the mechanics, but wouldn't it help with the whole problem of "how to get out of the spawn under fire"?*us** Hello all! This is my first post to the group. I have been lurking and reading for several days. I got the sweetest boxer at the animal control shelter. She is great. I need to find a dog food that is reasonably priced. Under $1 per pound. I have been reading in other posts that most people here feed burns. I understand that it is good however, it would cost me about $1.75 per pound. Too much. I would love to be able to get Mollys food at petsmart since it is around the corner. She also has loose stools now and the farting will make your eyes water and clear the room. She is 18 months and full of energy. Are there any foods that will fulfill mine and my dogs needs. Less gas, Less cost and firmer stools.ThanksCraigWell, Mattie has decided to try to get my daughter to play the same way she tries to get the cats to play- by getting right up in her face and barking and occasionally putting her mouth on her face  while dodging in and out and doing the "come play!" dance. She's not nipping or biting, but it's definitely not something I want to continue (not to mention it's a little disconcerting to see your 2 yr olds face disapear into those lips!  ) She's done it 2 other times, and unfortunately, they didn't happen where we could disicpline her immediately and so she wouldn't know why she was in trouble. This last time, I was there and jumped out of my chair, yelling "No! No! Bad Dog! Get in time out!" and advancing on her ( and blowing myself up as much as a 5' 1" momma bear can ) and she ran for the timeout bathroom and beat me down the hallway. (that part is kinda funny because usually I have to get her leash to make her go in time out! ). Any other advice to get her to quit that? I have a feeling it is a pecking order problem, and that she is not giving my daughter the respect she does us. It doesn't help that she weighs half of what Mattie does. I have Mattie wait at the doors to go in or out for my daughter and the cats to go first, I feed my kid before the dog, and I let her feed the dog. She also can make her sit for treats. Do you think having my daughter work with her new commands she will learn in obedience class would help? She still kinda has that toddler "accent" so it isn't going to sound just like us... I was also thinking about a daily "training session" with them, and when Mattie doesn't mind my daughter (once I am sure she understands what she wants ) she goes to timeout. Do you think this will work? Any other suggestions?
