THISjohndoeforumsvbindex.Thanks all - I am still new to vB and vBA - so sorry if I sound goofy. I don't see anywhere to give them permission to view this page or disable it and the permissions of this usergroup are set to yes for most of the permissions and the ones that are set to no should not be related such as editing posts. I wanted to create a page called Badges, that when accessed I can put the badges on that page. Then I have added buttons so that I can go to the forums homepage in vbulletin and that url is as follows: johndoeforumsindex. Once they are on this do nto have permission to view page that can click forums and view the forums etc. Anyone heard of them etc?like?profile.So basically I just want it to launch a new page with very few things on it - like just the navbar and the site navigation menu and the rest is just basically an html table with all the badges on it.8 and VB Advanced CMPS v3.0 RC2. not a admin for the site but for our organization.For example - our gaming guild earns badges based on our guilds progress.php <<<(notice vbindex was because I had vbindex installed a long time ago and didnt want to have to change all my urls so I left it and it has worked fine).phpNow when the 3 people i put in the new user group I created log in past the main home page where they should be directed to the VB advanced homepage they get the messages that says they do not have permission to view the page and that it could be bc the admin disabled their account which I did not do.endid=39047821I am wanting to add a new page. I'm not sure if thus is vbulletin related or VB advanced.I'm running VB 3.Enjoy your day - and thanks for taking the time to respnd.I have my page set up by the following: They go to the regular home page url: johndoeOnce they log in as its a password protected directory they are redirected or forwarded to the following url that is the vb abadvanced homepage. I deleted a member of our administration. So we have a lot of badges. The reason I created the additional group was because there are people that are part of the administration that I do not want to be able to access the admin cp as mods or admins so I created a new usergroup so that they have more permissions then regular members but not as much as mods or admins.cfm.it now sends them to the vbulletin homepage and they have to click home in order to view the vbadvanced homepage.Since the badges are all scripts from another site I am going to build a big table with all our badges in it. The 2 problems I have is this. I created an additional user group so that only part of our administration can see a private forum that I created so that regular members could not see. Can anyone tell me where and how to fix some of this?Our man from Foo's Taylors band. This page would be to display some information. all ok but when they click the home page link they get the do not have permission page.myspaceindex. The second problem I have now created from moving crap around is that the instead of going from the main home page and entering a username and password in the pass word protected directory and it sending any member to the vbadvanced homepage like it did before . As an added screw up which I think they are just going to have to register again.6;
