This is a district that used to be residential, but lately a large amount of companies headed up to this area and opened their offices there.View from the Tower to the southView from the Tower to the westargh, I'm so groggy I can barely make this coherent. DS2 has been tormenting us for nights.....he's not quite 3, but being a precocious child (#$*!ing yay) he has entered the classic three year old imaginationfearsanxieties phase....and nightmares. He has been waking up, inconsolable several times a night, hard to get back to sleep, terrified of crocodile and alligators. wanting to sleep with his big brother, (no problem, DS1 has bunk beds, we've been intending for DS2 to move there when he was ready anyway) but then a couple hours later, no it's too scary in there, he wants to go back to his crib. Last night was particularly awful. I'm a zombie, and everyone is cranky.Of course I can't tell him "crocodiles aren't real." When this started I said "Monsters aren't real" and he snapped at me "Crocodiles are real!" %$#! smart child. I do tell him crocodiles don't live around here, it's too cold for them, crocodiles live in a lake and not in a house, we lock the doors and crocodiles can't get in, the dog would bark if there were crocodiles, etc etc. None of it works. BTW, I asked him after DS1's bday what he wanted for his bday cake and he said "Crocodile cake!"That would probably be funnier if I weren't about to beat the both of them just because I want to go to sleep.Help, suggestions, and can anybody babysit today so I could nap?
