THISHope it's OK to post this here, just want to make sure we reach all UK Clans accepting that some don't visit rtcw.ukAnnouncing the British Unter and Elite Wireplay Challenge 2004Last year a crack squad (OK, a few blokes) organised a tournament for RTCW called UnterElite. The Tournament was specifically aimed at those Clans outside the top tier of RTCW at the time, i.e. those "under" or "unter" (in german) the top teams.This year the same (fool)hardy souls have decided to organise a Tournament for ET, the game we're all playing now. We've secured sponsorship from our good friends at Wireplay who will be helping us with servers and prizes. The competition will be run as follows .....16 clans will be seeded into 4 groups of 4 with each clan playing each other in each group.The top two clans go into a knockout phase called "Elite" to find the eventual winner. The bottom two clans then proceed to a knockout phase called "Unter". We thereby hope to give ALL Clans maximum participation and something that they can all aim for.Winners of both the Elite and Unter titles will win a free clan server from Wireplay for two months.We have set no date as of yet for the competition to start but around about four weeks would be a good estimate. We will also be running two custom maps to keep with tradition of Unterelite. One custom map is SupplyDepot, the other one we have not decided upon yet and wish for clans to air their opinions on our forums.Our website is now live so please sign up and the forums are open for clans to express their interest in taking part.
