THISWOW - do I know what you have to put up, with!! It's like when we were just dating & I had fallen & twisted my elbow he didn't even want me to go get it checked out. So, to this day my left elbow is always popping out of socket & hurting(killing) me w pain! Now, he doesn't like me 'running' to the dr., he says all the time; like once or twice a year! But, would you believe, I haven't gone & gotten a shot for the arthritis in my neck for over a year & now, he is actually complaining because I haven't been getting it!!! GOD BLESS Carol & JoeBoxerHi all, I couldn't think of another place for this thread. if its in the wrong spot please forgive.So my brother-in-law was telling me of an argument he overheard at the dog park and since this is the largest group of dog owners I have access to I thought I'd get some feedback.He overheard these two dog owners talking about their pup's (not boxers) and crate training. Owner A had a pup about 9 months old and Owner B had a 10 or 12 week pup. Owner B was asking Owner A for advice on various things. It came around to how long canshould the pup be in the crate while he's out of the house. Owner B was going back to work (had taken time off to be with pup) and was concerned because he was going to be out of the house for most of the day and didn't have anyone to let the dog out on a regular basis. Owner A made a few suggestions 1 of them being "take him to work" and continued to tell of a friend who occasionally takes his dog to work if he doesn't have anyone to let him out during the day.here's the thing. The friend crates the dog in his SUV with a bowl of water, parks in an underground garage and goes to work. he coumes out every 2 or 3 hours to let the dog out and take a walk around the block (city block) and then puts him back in. lunch the dog is out for about 40 min and they go to a parkette or something where there are occasionally other dogs walking as well.at this point owner B seemed disturbed by what he just heard and said that it was wrong, the dog wasn't being treated properly and the guy should be charged. Owner A said that its no different than when the dog is home except he gets more excersize. the dog is in the shade with the windows cracked for ventilation, and he gets let our more often.Is this ethical tratment of animals????gogenfrontpageI'm seeing old games for a nice price, updated for use with xp and vista even 64 bit.These look like great deals.
