THISRegister or Login to Remove this AdI have been playing tuba for 7 years, and just graduated high school. I am now moving on to college and looking for a BBb tuba, preferably with rotary valves. I am leaning towards the Miraphone 86, because that is what I played at highschool. What are some good BBb tubas with rotary valves in the Miraphone price range? I know the Yamaha is an option but I am not looking to spend quite that much. Also where can you find new or slightly used tubas? I have been to tubaexchange, and in used all I could find were 40 year old Miraphones used, and the new ones seemed more expensive than some other sites I have seen. Any reccommendations on how to try out tubas when seemingly no one in the Boston area carries any? Thanks 8)Just wondering. Let's not turn this into some kind of "bash religion" crap, but do you seriously get bothered when people say "Merry Christmas" to you? Would you prefer "Happy Holidays", if so?currently with my killer machine my fps can vary from highs of about 50 to lows of approx 5 fps on certain maps (aveage of 20)i was wondering if anyone has any tweaks out there to bump this average up a little?now i realise the best thing would be to get a new graphics card, but i already did. unfortunatly my comp only pci slots so im kinda screwed.any tips appreciated!
