THISI have a 10 week old boxer named Roxie. She has been doing REALLY WELL with using the doggie door we have to go outside and go to the bathroom. Other than the occasional accidents in the house, things are going along smoothly...with one exception...SHE EATS HER OWN POOP. I have been trying everything, telling her to "Leave It", picking it up right after she goes, and I had even heard of putting a spoonful of pineapple in her food, which I tried last night. For one, she LOVED the food with the pineapple flavoring...she ate it like crazy ha ha. Then she went to the bathroom and didnt even SMELL it so I thought, GREAT PROBLEM SOLVED. She went later on last night again and the same thing, didn't even smell it. But then this morning, she did her business outside and she tried to eat it AGAIN....has anyone ever tried doing the pineapple trick?? Am I doing something wrong? Does it take awhile...for example should I keep putting the pineapple on her food for a few days?? Another side effect was it kind of made her poops runny so I am a bit hesitant to do the pineapple trick again but I would rather have her have runny poops than eat her poops...can anyone help???Thanks!Haha, did anyone in Manchester just feel that!It's intended that you have to replay it once or twice to make sense of the story.
