THISRegister or Login to Remove this AdHi to all! I play Eb tuba, but am looking to learn the Bb euph as well to extend my repitoire. I play Eb tuba music reading from the bass clef, and also can read treble - I just imagine that it's bass clef and add 3 flats to it. I can also play euph music, on a euph, that's been transposed in the treble clef, by again imagining it's in bass clef. The problem is when I play the euph but read bass clef - obviously, it's a different fingering!I was wondering if you guys have any tips or tricks that I could try, to make it easier to play bass clef euph? I don't really want to learn the Bb euph fingerings all over again (it took me about 6 months to get my Eb fingering down pat) - surely there's some way to do it, now that I know Eb tuba fingerings (which would also work for Eb euph (if it existed), and Eb Alto Horn (which does)!Also, what about 'C' euphoniums - although rare? Would they have the same bass clef fingering as a Eb tuba, a BBb tuba or a C tuba?
